Moorbrook Lodge Rules
We are friendly team here at Moorbrook Lodge.
However for obvious reasons we have a list of rules which are noted below.
A current EA (Environment Agency) licence is essential
Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
A valid ticket to fish must be purchased before commencing to fish
Fishing is from the banks only
Fly fishing only
A team of up to 3 flies is permitted
Please take great care when landing and returning trout, follow a
set of guidelines available at the fishery.
By law landing nets must be of a knotless nylon. These are available
to buy at the Tackle Emporium.
Please be especially careful not to drop nylon line around the
fishery – it can kill or maim the wildlife so easily.
Abide by the Country Code and either take litter home or place in
the bins provided
Each angler is responsible for their own ticket. Filling each others
bag limit is not permitted.
Tickets are not transferable and bag limits may not be combined.
No rod to be left in the water unattended.
Artificial flies no bigger than a size 8 and single hook to be used,
no power bait / sweet corn or the like to be used.
Any fish being dispatched must be carried out quickly with a
‘priest’
Please report all catches to the fishery staff.
Unless invited to do so do not encroach on another anglers space.
The management reserves the right to inspect any anglers belongings
whilst on the fishery and also to refuse entry.
