Corporate Days & Events
Moorbrook Trout Fishery offers superb corporate facilities for hospitality or employee motivation and team building. All too often hospitality days take the form of motor racing or clay pigeon shooting which can be noisy or crowded. The businessman or woman, who leads an active and stressful life, would appreciate more a break from the frantic pace of their working day. What could be more delightful and relaxing than a day spent fly fishing in a tranquil environment? You can combine fishing with other activities in the area such as golf or horse riding.

At present there are 7 lakes in total which can be booked exclusively depending on the party size and requirements. Bespoke days can be arranged to suit most needs for up to 30 participants, they can be held for the full day or, in the summer months, evenings only.

Many clients like to entertain guests who have never fly fished before, in which case qualified instructors are available. In fact this type of learning experience provides the basis for a highly stimulating and enjoyable day. The ‘old hands’ can also find some challenges to interest them on each unique lake.
  • A full catering and hospitality service can be held in a marquee by the lakes.
  • A new log cabin can be used to greet your guests
  • Packages include equipment hire or guest can bring their own
  • Instruction is given by G.A.I.C. qualified coaches so total novices can become competent fly anglers in no time at all.
  • Coffee and tea are available throughout the day as well as BBQ facilities at the picnic area over looking the lakes and the Causeway Coast.
  • Competitions can be run in the afternoon for teams and individuals (best novice, best team, best fish etc). Discounts will be given at The Tackle Emporium for prizes purchased.
